Day 01: Marrakech – Telouet Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Start your journey from Marrakech and head towards Telouet Kasbah, a historic fortress known for its impressive architecture and rich history. Explore the kasbah and learn about its significance in the region. Continue your drive to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its well-preserved ksar. Spend some time exploring the ancient mud-brick buildings and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. From there, proceed to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the film studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. Finally, drive to Zagora, a town on the edge of the Sahara Desert, where you will spend the night. Enjoy camel trekking and sunset in the desert.
Day 02: Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast in Zagora, embark on a scenic drive through the Draa Valley, known for its lush palm groves and picturesque landscapes. Pass through the town of Agdz, with its charming traditional architecture, and continue to Ouarzazate. Take some time to explore the city or visit any attractions you may have missed on your previous visit. Then, head back to Marrakech, where your journey began, and conclude your trip.
