Day 01: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges
Start your journey from Marrakech and head towards Ait Ben Haddou, a famous UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive kasbah. Explore the ancient fortified village and learn about its history. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the Taourirt Kasbah and film studios. Journey through the scenic Valley of Roses and reach the stunning Dades Gorges, where you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and spend the night.
Day 02: Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Desert
Depart from Dades and drive to the Todra Gorges, famous for their towering cliffs and picturesque scenery. Take a walk through the gorge and appreciate its natural beauty. Continue your journey to Erfoud, known for its fossil discoveries, and then reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Experience a camel ride through the mesmerizing sand dunes and witness a magical sunset. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying dinner and traditional music under the starry sky.
Day 03: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Errachidia – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
In the morning, depart from Merzouga and travel to Erfoud. From there, drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and stunning landscapes. Continue your journey through Errachidia and Midelt, nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass through Azrou, a town famous for its cedar forest and inhabited by friendly Barbary macaque monkeys. Finally, reach Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” due to its unique architecture, and continue to the cultural and historical city of Fes, where you will spend the night.
