Day 01: Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges
Start your day by visiting the Kasbah of Telouet, known for its rich history and stunning architecture. From there, continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its well-preserved ksar (fortified village). After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, head to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” due to its role as a filming location for many movies. Continue your journey through the Valley of Roses and reach the beautiful Dades Gorges, where you can enjoy the scenic views and spend the night.
Day 02: Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Desert
Start your day by driving through the dramatic Todra Gorges, renowned for their towering cliffs and natural beauty. Continue your journey to Erfoud, known for its fossil discoveries, and then reach Merzouga, where the majestic sand dunes of the Sahara Desert await. Experience a camel ride through the golden dunes and witness the breathtaking sunset. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp and enjoy a memorable evening of Berber music and stargazing.
Day 03: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Nkob – Agdz – Ouarzazate
In the morning, depart from Merzouga and head towards Rissani, a town known for its traditional markets and historical significance as the birthplace of the current Alaouite dynasty ruling Morocco. Continue your journey through Alnif and Nkob, both charming towns with unique landscapes and cultural heritage. Pass through Agdz, located in the Draa Valley, and reach Ouarzazate, where you can spend the night.
Day 04: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
On your final day, depart from Ouarzazate and make your way to Marrakech. The drive will take you through stunning landscapes and mountain views.
